Taster Events at St Mary’s School
Taster Day
We would be delighted to welcome your daughter for a full school day, giving her the chance to experience life at St Mary’s and explore the wide range of opportunities available. To arrange a visit, please contact our Registrar.
SMS Inspire Day (open to all girls in Year 5, aged 9-10)
Enjoy a fun afternoon of workshops in Sport, Drama, Dance and Science, with hands-on sessions in our outstanding facilities led by brilliant teachers. It’s a fantastic chance for current Year 5 Pupils to experience lessons first-hand, explore new interests, and get a real feel for life at senior school.
Thursday 7 May – 3.45pm-5.45pm
Shakespeare in the Garden (open to all aged 8-10 and their families)
Join us for a special performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream by our Year 7 students. The experience begins with a treasure hunt, followed by a 30-minute performance with a delicious afternoon tea served to guests on Cedar Lawn.
Designed especially for girls in Year 5 who are starting to think about their transition to Senior School, this event offers a great introduction to senior school life and a chance to meet our senior staff and current Year 7 pupils. It is perfect introduction to Shakespeare in a relaxed, family-friendly setting.
