Sixth Form Entry Requirements
Entry into Year 12 is based on academic ability. Applicants are expected to achieve:
- A minimum of five GCSEs at grades 9–5.
- A minimum of grade 6 in the subjects they wish to study at A Level.
- A successful interview with our Head and Head of Sixth Form.
How to Apply
Step 1 – Register Your Interest
Complete our online registration form to begin your Sixth Form application. Our Registrar will be in touch to guide you through the next steps.
Step 2 – Meet Our Sixth Form Team
All applicants will be invited to an interview with our Head and Head of Sixth Form. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you, discuss your academic interests and ambitions, and help you explore what St Mary’s can offer.
Step 3 – GCSE Results and Confirmation
Offers of a place are subject to meeting our GCSE entry requirements. Once your results are available, we will confirm your place and support you in preparing for the start of Sixth Form.
