Welcome to St Mary’s School, in the heart of Gerrards Cross – here you will find everything you need to know about admissions and the journey to joining our community.

A new chapter is beginning at St Mary’s. From September 2027, we plan to become co-educational, welcoming boys into all Prep School year groups and, through a phased approach, into our Senior School and Sixth Form. Our Nursery will begin welcoming boys from January 2027.

Our main entry points are Nursery, Reception, Year 3, Years 5 or 6, Year 7 and Year 12, and we welcome applications to other year groups subject to availability. Applications are now open for boys and girls joining us in September 2027 in line with our phased move to co-education.

I appreciate that changing schools can sometimes feel daunting for families, and my aim is to make the process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible. We take the time to get to know every pupil – their strengths, interests and talents – looking at the whole child rather than assessment results alone.
