Oil Painting Workshop hosted by multi-media artist Kate Brandon

On Thursday 27 November the Art Department was transformed into an Oil Painting Workshop hosted by multi-media artist Kate Brandon who, apart from accepting private commissions, has over 10 years’ experience of running workshops for both adults and children.

The whole day was devoted to oil painting and the students learnt about different brushes, underpainting and how to apply oil paint effectively. As you can see from the work below the standard of the responses were truly amazing!
