Smiles and Sporting Spirit Shine at Pre-Prep Sports Day

There was excitement, laughter and plenty of cheering as our Pre-Prep pupils took to the field for a fantastic Sports Day, celebrating teamwork, determination and the joy of taking part.

From energetic sprint races to the ever-popular egg and spoon race, challenging hurdles and the exciting vortex throw, every child embraced each event with enthusiasm and confidence. It was wonderful to see our youngest pupils giving their very best, encouraging one another and enjoying every moment of the day.

A special highlight was the incredible support provided by our Senior School Sports Leaders, who demonstrated outstanding leadership, kindness and encouragement throughout the event. Their enthusiasm and care helped every child feel confident, supported and celebrated, perfectly reflecting the strong sense of community that defines St Mary’s.

Our sincere thanks also go to our dedicated staff, whose organisation, energy and encouragement ensured the day ran so smoothly. Their commitment created a fun, inclusive and memorable experience for every pupil and family.

A huge thank you as well to all of our wonderful parents who joined in the traditional parents’ race. Your enthusiasm, competitive spirit and willingness to get involved brought plenty of laughter and excitement, making the day even more memorable for the girls.
