Strong Start to the Season for Gymnastics Teams at ISGA Two-Piece Competition

Five gymnastics teams proudly represented the school at the ISGA Two-Piece Competition held yesterday at Haberdasher’s Boys’ School. It was a long but rewarding day, and the girls performed brilliantly, showing great teamwork, determination, and school spirit throughout the event.

This was the first time in several years that the school has taken part in this particular competition, and the teams entered with the goal of gaining valuable experience early in the season. Their hard work and dedication certainly paid off, with some outstanding results across the age groups.

Results:

  • U9 Challenge1st place overall as a team

    • Individual medals: 4th Corinthia, 5th Olivia

  • U10 Premier1st place overall as a team

    • Individual medals: 1st Georgie, 3rd Hermione, joint 4th Kaira and Aisling

  • U11 Premier2nd place overall as a team

The competition was a wonderful example of the girls demonstrating our school values: Empower, Embrace, Excel. They empowered one another through encouragement and teamwork, embraced the challenge of competing at a high level, and excelled through their commitment, resilience, and impressive performances on the day.
