World Book Day Brings Creativity and Joy

Students and staff came together today to celebrate World Book Day in a vibrant display of creativity, imagination, and a shared love of reading. The school was filled with excitement as corridors transformed into a parade of colourful costumes inspired by beloved book characters.

From classic literary heroes to modern favourites, both students and staff embraced the spirit of the day with enthusiasm. Many showcased imaginative outfits, reflecting the time, effort, and creativity that went into preparing for this special celebration.

The atmosphere throughout the day was full of energy and positivity, with happy smiles seen in every classroom. Activities centered around reading and storytelling helped highlight the importance of books and encouraged a continued passion for literature among students.

Mrs Carney (Deputy Head) commented it was “wonderful to see so many creative costumes and happy faces,” adding that the event was a true celebration of the joy that reading can bring.
