Year 7 trip to Paccar

Trip to Paccar By Summer 

On Monday my year (year 7) went to PACCAR Scout Camp, which is a fun place for different activities to do with team building. When we arrived at Paccar we were split into 2 groups. I was in the group who did team building first. The first activity we did was to put our hooks onto boxes without touching the box! It was tricky but very fun and, in the end, we worked together and got all the boxes. Next, we had to get to a birthday order without talking or falling off a bench. We did that while struggling not to fall! After that we had to travel on crates without falling off but there wasn’t enough for all of us, so we had to move them as we went and eventually made all the way around the field. The last team building activity we did was tyre sorting. It was very hard and the tyres were heavy, but we all helped lift them and finished in 1 minute!

After Team building, we went to do Lazer tag in the woods. We were put into a blue team and a red team. (I was on the blue team.) We hid behind trees and tried to shoot people without getting shot back at we tried really hard but, in the end, the red team won!

Paccar was a great team building experience; my whole year and I had a great time!

Trip to Paccar By Riya

I really enjoyed the trip to Paccar. It was very fun as I got to bond with my classmates. I found the laser tag really fun as the everyone got to take part and do their own thing, take action and use great teamwork which made it my favourite thing we did there. I also found team building fun as everyone had to communicate to each other and try to solve out what they were doing that made it really interesting and got people to bond better. I really liked the trip to PACCAR and I think it was perfect for bonding especially at the end of half term.
