A Journey Through the Universe with the Hertfordshire Mobile Planetarium

This week, we were delighted to welcome the Hertfordshire Mobile Planetarium to our school, offering students in Years 5, 6, 8, 11 and 12 an unforgettable journey through space.

Inside the immersive dome, pupils explored the Solar System, traced constellations and travelled through our galaxy, bringing their classroom learning vividly to life. The 360-degree experience allowed students to appreciate the immense scale and beauty of the universe in a way that simply cannot be replicated in a textbook.

Students were captivated throughout, asking insightful questions and making impressive connections to their current studies. The visit provided both inspiration and deeper understanding, reminding us all just how vast and fascinating our universe truly is.

Our sincere thanks to Mr I. Plunkett and Mrs S. Brereton for organising this exceptional experience.
