Celebrating Dyslexia Awareness Week with author Tom McLaughlin

What an amazing day during Dyslexia Awareness Week! We were thrilled to welcome the incredible Tom McLaughlin, a dyslexic author and illustrator, to inspire our pupils.

Tom had everyone laughing as he read his hilarious book Alan, the King of the Universe. He also treated our older Prep pupils to a hands-on illustration session, showing them how to create characters starting with a simple shape. The children had a fantastic time trying it out for themselves.

Our Reception children were equally captivated, enjoying every moment of his storytelling.

A huge thank you to Tom for encouraging creativity, confidence, and pride in our unique ways of thinking. It was a truly memorable experience for all the pupils.
