Internet Safety Day Tuesday 10th February

To celebrate Internet Safety Day in senior house we are encouraging students to have healthy habits including connecting with people, being active, less screen time, taking notice of their feelings and emotions and trying new things. On Tuesday 10th February we are having a get up and move assembly in the sports hall led by Mrs O’Brien our teacher of Dance. Following this all of the senior house students will have PSHCEE lessons and form time dedicated to topics around internet safety and screen use. Additionally, Year 7 are doing a debate on Thursday of this week on the following topics; Technology should be banned after 8pm for under 13s/Users who are under 13 cannot access any form of social media/Online gaming is socially isolating for teenagers. We are really looking forward to their arguments for and against these topics.
