Shakespeare in the Garden Showcases Year 7 Talent and Confidence

Our Year 7 students delighted audiences at this year’s Shakespeare in the Garden, delivering a captivating performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream for current and prospective families.

Performing with confidence, enthusiasm and creativity, the girls brought Shakespeare’s much-loved comedy to life in the beautiful garden setting. Their assured performances embodied one of the play’s most memorable lines: “Though she be but little, she is fierce” – a fitting reflection of the St Mary’s journey, where every girl is encouraged to grow in confidence, discover her voice and flourish with quiet strength.

The evening was a wonderful celebration of both theatrical talent and the vibrant spirit of our school community. We were delighted to welcome so many current and prospective families, whose encouragement and support helped make the event such a memorable occasion.

A heartfelt thank you goes to every student who took part for their dedication, energy and commitment throughout rehearsals and the performance.
